Syrian President Bashar al-Assad said a suspected chemical weapons attack was a “fabrication” to justify a US military strike, as Moscow digs in to defend its ally despite increasing strains with Washington.
In an exclusive interview with AFP in Damascus, his first since the alleged April 4 chemical attack prompted a US air strike on Syrian forces, Assad said his army had given up all its chemical weapons and that Syrian military power was not affected by the US strike. “Definitely, 100 per cent for us, it’s fabrication,” he said of the incident. “Our impression is that the West, mainly the United States, is hand-in-glove with the terrorists.
They fabricated the whole story in order to have a pretext for the attack,” added Assad, who has been in power for 17 years. Western leaders including US President Donald Trump have accused Assad of being behind last week’s attack in the rebel-held town Khan Sheikhun, saying his forces unleashed a chemical weapon during an air strike.
The US threatens more pressure on Syria after missile strikes
The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has begun an investigation into the alleged attack, but Russia on Wednesday blocked a UN Security Council resolution demanding Syria cooperate with the probe.

And Assad said he could “only allow any investigation when it’s impartial, when we make sure that unbiased countries will participate in this delegation in order to make sure that they won’t use it for politicised purposes.”

The Khan Sheikhun incident prompted the first direct US military action against Assad’s government since the war began, with 59 cruise missiles hitting the Shayrat airbase three days after the suspected chemical attack.
Russia accused the United States of breaking international law with the strike against the Syrian regime, a key ally that Moscow has supported with air strikes since 2015.

Here it looks like only one person treating this "victim" needs to wear a mask and by the way, who is shooting the picture? Why is a camera allowed in a sanitation room where victims are being treated? The woman on the left has long hair like a model with no hairnet and a "adorn" in her hair. The one in the middle has a mask on but no hairnet and no protective gloves.
And why does the "Victim" have a body suit on when she was supposed to be "gassed" by her nose and mouth and should be foaming and having the feeling of suffocating?

The top story on CNN's front page today is a disgusting Iraq-has-WMDs-style fake news story to con America into another war.
h1. Under the title, "7-year-old Syrian girl's heartbreaking plea: 'Why can't you stop the war?'," CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota is seen interviewing a 7-year-old Syrian girl named Bana Alabed.
h1. Camerota asks her: "Bana, do you [a 7-year-old girl] blame President Assad for this [chemical attack]?"
h1. "What is your message to President Assad?" Camerota asks the 7-year-old.
"I am very sad," Bana says, looking down and blatantly reading off a script. "A lot of died," she says, clearly struggling to read and skipping over the word "people" or "Syrians."
"And, oh," she stutters, "no one help them."
"The world is watching," she stammers, "the world doesn't do anything."
Bana responds, "Yes."
It goes on for another minute with Bana struggling to read her clearly pre-written propaganda lines.
Eventually she asks, "why you, why can't you, stop the war?"
"I don't know Bana, I don't know why the world can't stop the war in Syria someday," a torn Camerota responds, ignoring how incredibly fake and staged the whole shameless stunt she just took part in is.

Nikolas Kristof at the NY Times has gushed over them for years. They recently won a 2016 Right Livelihood Award. Netflix has recently released a special ‘documentary’ movie about the White Helmets. With impeccable timing, the mainstream media acclaim reached a crescendo with both the UK Guardian and The Independent calling on the Nobel Committee to award this year’s Nobel Peace Prize to the White Helmets and what better way to get more attention than to feature them in the Globalists most recent false flag in Syria.
With massive publicity, there is now greatly increased public awareness of the three year old White Helmets. Ironically SARC, which works with neutrality, have been largely ignored. And the original 60+ year old Syrian Civil Defense continues to work with absolutely no recognition in the West. The White Helmets are clearly a politically motivated hoax.
The time to investigate is now. It does little good to uncover falsehoods and manipulations years later. This is especially true because the people who created and uncritically promoted previous hoaxes such as Nayirah and the Kuwaiti incubators, Curveball and the Iraqi WMD have gone without penalty or punishment despite the enormous cost in lives and resources.
The White Helmets should be seriously investigated lest they be used to promote more war in Syria.
